Kudu of Ain't No Creek Ranch was the patriarc of our main snowflake line. This is one of our longest lived bloodlines. This beautiful "Chocolate Snowflake" lived to be nearly 5 years old!!! He also was the shyest hedgehog we have ever seen. Not one bit of agression in him. When we first got him, he would stay quietly balled up for hours at a time. Then one day, we found what he really likes----A hot little female hedgie. We have found that he will show much better at the hedgehog shows after a little fun...it usually lasts about a week. Recently he underwent what we term lypo-suction due to a breeding injury and is recovering just fine. He should be back breeding in the next few weeks. What female hedgehog could not love a face like that!!!!! Kudu also had several surgeries related to an infection he go while breeder. Unfortunately, he passed on to hedgehog heaven from a complication of the infection. However, his bloodline lives on forever!!!! |
