Camilla is one of our nicest "gray" hedgehogs. Camilla is named after Camilla Parker, the mistress of Prince Charles. Camilla was to be the mistress for Jake after Sonic passed on. Unfortunately, she never allowed Jake to mate with her. However, Camilla has been a great mother for all of her babies.
Camilla is a very special and lucky hedgehog. Over a year ago she developed a very agressive form of mammory cancer. She had surgery and has beaten all the odds in spite of the histology related to this cancer type. She no longer breeds and has been enjoying her retirement. When Camilla isn't running around playing with her toys, you will find her sleeping in her SuperPet Play Maze in the middle of one of the tubes. |
